Activity Centres
There are a range of Acitvity Centres across Britain, with a great variety of activities to choose from. Here you will find some ideas about what is possible to do, plus things you might not have thought of as possible.
The Bendrigg Trust

The Calvert Trust
For over 30 years, The Calvert Trust has been enabling people with disabilities, together with their families and friends, to achieve their potential through outdoor adventure activities in the countryside.
Today its three centres welcome over 11,000 visitors each year, helping them challenge disability through outdoor adventure and providing more opportunities to find out that "it's what you can do that counts!"

Gartmore House Conference and Activity Centre Stirling, Scotland
Since 2000 Gartmore House, a registered charity, run with a Christian ethos has grown significantly in size and quality, but maintains its key values of providing our guests with not just a enjoyable but memorable experience. A residential conference and activity centre offering activity breaks and holiday accommodation. Our activity breaks are aimed at 50+ and include light walking, watercolour painting, drama and crafts. We have also recently upgraded our activity centre accommodation to give full wheelchair access and ensuite bunk accommodation for youth groups.

Walking and Rambling
(The) Disabled Ramblers
We promote rambling by disabled people, primarily mobility impaired, in the countryside. Our members mainly use pavement vehicles, including electrically powered buggies, wheelchairs and manually propelled chairs. We organise a program each year of supported rambles across England and Wales. We also campaign for better access.

South West Coast Path National Trail - easy walks
Many sections of the South West Coast Path are suitable for people with mobility impairments. Our website has a range of suggested walks with a detailed map and a description of path gradients and surfaces along with photos to help you to decide whether the walk is suitable for you.

Places to visit with easier access, Brecon Beacons, Wales
The Places to Visit with Easier Access guide covers a variety of routes and attractions in and around the National Park, ranging from historic castles and museums to routes from a few metres to a few miles. RDA Riding for the Disabled Association
RDA is a federation of Member Groups, which are dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities, through the provision of opportunities for riding and/or carriage driving.
