TFA Directory
The TFA Directory contains information that has been gathered by or submitted to Tourism for All UK. It covers a wide range of services and products which we hope you will find useful. Please use the left hand menu to find what you need.
In the Accommodation – Open Britain section you can find properties that have been inspected and given a quality grading and an access rating under the National Accessible Scheme, providing a level of assurance. This includes hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, self-catering, camping and caravan sites. The OpenBritain website, which is owned by Tourism for All in partnership with RADAR, also contains Tourism for All/OpenBritain members' details. These are self-assessed and have accepted that they will be 'mystery-shopped', but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided to the degree of those who have received an inspection.
Where another organisation has undertaken an inspection, this will be indicated on the individual entry details. In particular, we are in the process of adding thousands of new entries of venues that have been inspected by DisabledGo, including restaurants, shops, attractions and leisure facilities.
All the rest of the content of the Directory are either TFA members or recommended by other users or submitted to us directly by the owners. TFA therefore takes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information given in these entries, although we do use our best endeavours to keep it up to date. We therefore encourage users of the website to send in their feedback – both positive and negative.
We especially encourage you to send in details of places where you have had an enjoyable experience – we will collate such ‘consumers’ votes’ and publish the results.
We encourage all accommodation providers to join the National Accessible Scheme.
